Important Tax Time Reminders


* Form 1099-R will be mailed to you by January 31, 2010. This form reports all taxable income you received during 2009 from your pension, MNDCP and Hennepin County 1% Supplemental Plan.

* MNDCP and Hennepin County 1% Supplemental Plan. - Due to the change in plan administrators, you may receive two 1099-R forms: one to report any distribution taken from January 1 through June 30, 2009 and a second tax form to report distributions taken from July 1 through December 31, 2009.

* Duplicate 1099-R tax forms are available upon request after February 10, 2010. You can also view and download your 1099-R on this website (you must log on to your Account Online). Exception: Form 1099-R that reports MNDCP or Hennepin County 1% Supplemental Plan distribution taken between January 1 and June 30, 2009 are not available on this website; you will need to contact our office to obtain a duplicate tax form.

* Health Care Savings Plan (HCSP) is a tax-free account, which means contributions and reimbursements are not reportable on state or federal income tax returns. You will not receive a 1099-R for this account.
